Return & Refund Policy
Our returns policy is per your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, BIKE PLACE PTY LTD offers options for both in-store and online purchases, therefore, the returns and refunds are handled differently.
Whilst we strive for the best range, we don’t stock all sizes.
Any reduced to clear or sale items are generally items in stock and not available at pricing to be ordered in.
For non-stocked items or sizes that you ask us to order in, for example shoes, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement in another size if you change your mind. Please choose your size carefully.
Generally change of mind is not available on your purchase, a restocking fee may apply for returns accepted without fault.
We are a small business, we will try to do the right thing but have put limitations in place due to previous abuse.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded and we do not offer refunds for sale items.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to us at our retail shop location in Port Kennedy. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Note that the refunds or exchanges will be issued only after a thorough quality check. We reserve the right to reject any requests for refund or exchange and the company’s decision cannot be challenged. The refunds and exchange requests are handled two days after receiving the request. It may take 5-7 working days to issue refunds if all the conditions for refunds are met.
